Alex, an office coordinator, prepares a boiler installation estimate. The spreadsheet is in focus, so input-active time is recorded against that application and window.
Alex calls the supplier while the estimate stays open. Intrflex separates the idle period after the configured threshold, giving the reviewer a clear point to discuss alongside Alex’s account of the call.
Alex returns to the keyboard and opens the engineer handover for Job 1042. Application focus changes from the estimate to the document. A private WhatsApp window is also visible on the desktop.
With screenshots enabled, this supported Windows client captures the handover and paints detected private-window bounds solid white. The original desktop stays unchanged. The saved image can help a reviewer understand the visible job coordination work.
The redacted image synchronises with the office laptop’s records. An authorised reviewer can open it alongside application context and active or idle periods. The white masking stays in the saved screenshot.
The saved handover highlights a delivery still awaiting confirmation. The manager can follow up with Alex and check the job record, helping the office prepare the engineer’s next visit with the right information.

How can desktop monitoring help us run a better service business?
Intrflex brings the office side of your service business into view. See application activity around estimating, customer updates and engineer handovers, then review it alongside job progress and recorded time. That gives you a clearer starting point for balancing admin workload, following up on outstanding work and deciding where your team needs support.
Can we use it with our existing office computers?
Intrflex supports desktop window tracking on Windows and macOS, so you can bring your office team into the same workspace as your field operations. On macOS, enable Accessibility for window information and Screen Recording if you choose screenshots. We can walk through setup for your computers during your demo.
How does the activity timeline help us understand the day?
The timeline brings application and window focus together with input-active and idle periods, helping you follow how the computer day unfolds. Use it with your team to understand time spent around estimates, admin and handovers. Idle periods can include supplier calls, reading and work away from the keyboard, so the timeline supports informed review rather than an automatic productivity score.
How does Intrflex protect private windows in screenshots?
On supported Windows clients, Intrflex paints detected private-window areas solid white in the saved screenshot, keeping the surrounding work visible. The employee’s original screen stays unchanged. macOS and older clients skip affected captures instead. Detection uses app and window matching rules; screenshots remain optional so you can choose a collection policy that suits your team.
What information can we review?
Review application and window activity, input-active and idle durations, and website hostnames where available. Enable optional screenshots when you want visual context for work such as estimates and handovers. Intrflex does not log keystrokes or clipboard contents; screenshots show the visible screen content outside detected private areas.
Can we choose what is collected and who can see it?
Yes. Your authorised administrators enrol employee computers, manage devices and choose whether to collect screenshots. Separate permissions control activity review, screenshot viewing, exports and deletion. Configurable retention periods help you keep the records your business needs, with access suited to each reviewer’s role.
Will records sync if a computer goes offline?
Yes. Intrflex keeps activity and screenshots in encrypted local storage while the computer is offline and synchronises them when it reconnects to your workspace. Your team can keep working through connection interruptions, with received records available for review afterwards.
